Connected to IWITS
Ironworkers Local 433 keeps its records in IWITS. With the integration, LinkedUnion checks each member against IWITS and posts approved payments back, so nobody uploads lists or keys payments in by hand.

Declined transactions don't update IWITS. Failed postings and reconciliation exceptions are flagged for follow-up, not shown as completed. Illustrative workflow: each integration is subject to approval, configuration and testing.

What offices ask us
Who processes the payments?
Gravity Payments, LinkedUnion's preferred payment partner, through Ironworkers Local 433's own merchant account connected to LinkedUnion. Members enter card details on its secure hosted payment form. If Ironworkers Local 433 already works with a different payment processor, LinkedUnion integrates with other payment providers too.
Can we add a service fee?
Yes, if you want one. Each dues option you set up has a title, a cost and an optional service fee, so you decide whether to pass a fee on and how much.
What do members need?
The Ironworkers Local 433 app or the website, and a card. Their name and member number fill in from their member record, and they can save a card for next time.
Where do we see payments?
In the LinkedUnion dashboard, as they come in. Members get an emailed receipt and a confirmation number on screen.
What if a card is declined?
The payment doesn't go through and nothing is marked paid. The member can try another card. Declined transactions don't update IWITS.
Can we change amounts later?
Yes. Let us know and LinkedUnion updates them, or edit the Pay Dues form in your dashboard. The app and the website update together.

Is it safe to pay in the app?
Yes. Card details go into Gravity Payments' secure payment form. Gravity Payments is Ironworkers Local 433's payment processor.
Do I have to type in my details?
No. Your name and member number fill in from your member record when you're signed in to the Ironworkers Local 433 app or the website.
Can I save my card?
Yes. Save it when you pay, and it's ready the next time you open Pay Dues.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. You'll see a confirmation number right away and get a receipt by email. Your payment history stays in the app.
Is there a fee?
Yes: a convenience fee of $3.00 is included in the amounts above, and shown before you pay.
What if the amount looks wrong?
Don't pay yet: call 626-964-2500 and the office will sort it out.
Can I still pay another way?
Yes. You can enroll in Auto Pay for monthly dues from the Online Dues page on ironworkers433.org.
